In 2017, while at the BBC, I helped bring Glastonbury Festival’s digital presence to life with the BBC.
I managed live streaming for Facebook and Periscope — developing workflows, solving on-the-ground issues, and making sure our social channels stayed active, responsive, and engaging throughout the weekend. I also supported the iPlayer livestream operation, working closely with the technical production teams to keep things running smoothly behind the scenes.
Working alongside an incredible team, I also helped manage the logistics for over 100 staff members, covering everything from technical setup to content scheduling. Despite the mud, madness, and mobile signal challenges, we pulled off a record-breaking digital experience that brought Glastonbury’s energy to millions around the world.
