In 2017, I worked as the On-Site Production Coordinator for BBC Radio 1’s Big Weekend in Hull, managing key logistics for crew and suppliers at one of the UK’s biggest music festivals.

Alongside the core production work, I supported Radio 1’s first on-site Periscope livestreams, helping set up and maintain internet connectivity for the digital team to ensure smooth, reliable broadcasts.

It was a fast-paced environment where technical reliability and tight coordination were essential to keeping everything running on schedule and online.
