Backstory

In 2016, I supported on-site production for the BBC Music Awards, working across the digital and multiplatform teams during one of the BBC's biggest live music broadcasts of the year. A key part of my role was managing Radio 1's first ever Facebook Live stream: a pre-broadcast moment designed to pull audiences across to the main TV show. I oversaw the technical setup, coordinated with editorial teams and managed how we got it live.

Alongside the livestream, I supported wider digital content production throughout the day, helping coordinate backstage filming, social media coverage and cross-platform content delivery.
